SAFETY INFORMATION
►Do not use TOBRADEX if:
- you think you have an infection in your eye.
- you have increased pressure within the eye (glaucoma).
- you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to TOBRADEX Eye Drops, tobramycin/dexamethasone (active ingredients) or any other of product ingredient.
If any of the conditions listed above apply to you, please consult your doctor before using TOBRADEX Eye Drops. This medicine may not be suitable for you, and your doctor may wish to give you a different medicine.
►Before taking TOBRADEX, ask your doctor for advice if:
- you are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant or if you are breastfeeding.
- you are a child
- you are elderly
There are no special considerations for use of TOBRADEX Eye Drops in patients with kidney or liver problems.
►Driving
If you experience temporary blurred vision after using TOBRADEX Eye Drops you should wait until these symptoms go away before driving or operating machinery.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines TOBRADEX Eye Drops can have side effects. Tell your doctor if you experience any of the following in your eye:
►MILD SIDE EFFECTS
- Discomfort on application
- Itching
- Redness
- Swelling of the conjunctiva
►Tell your doctor as soon as possible if you experience:
- Headaches, blurring of vision, and tunnel vision (a feeling as though you were looking into a tunnel), which may be an indication of increased pressure in your eyes. Your doctor can check this by measuring the pressure in your eyes.
- If you use TOBRADEX Eye Drops for a long time (longer than 24 days), you may become more susceptible to other infections and it may delay the healing of your wound. If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
DRUG INTERACTION
Although TOBRADEX Eye Drops have not been shown to have effects on other medicines that you may also be taking, please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicine – even those that were not prescribed.
